Heima Tralier

As you may know, I am a huge Sigur Rós fan. I was lucky enough to see them live in Atlanta in 2005 with my wife. She had never really listen to them before and after the concert she really caught the bug.

It was an emotional and excellent concert. Made me feel young (though i am not really old :)

So, Sigur Rós is releasing a DVD of footage of them and their homeland (Iceland) along with different concerts they performed around their. check out this trailer for it.

finally

geezzz. get the flu for a week and a half and the world keeps on going. Bills are stacked, projects are due, and I've got to clean my office. Well.. starting to feel better now, but got my worked cut out this weekend.
At least it's been raining. It rained for 15 minutes for an entire month between July and August. My garden was really struggling and even the trees were starting to look horrible. But now, for the past week it's been raining off and on. I love it.

Oh and Georgia Football get's started this weekend. Who wouldn't get excited about that?

I've got the new I-Life and I-Work. Both are impressive. I think now I'll make a fancy little budget with Numbers. I've got one with Excel, but Number's just looks so good.

Thinking about the mundane

"Thinking about the mundane; the hum-drum of daily living. Life is not less than this, but always more. Seems to me though that most of the time our lives are made up of the not less, and not the more. There should be both a level of acceptance and dissatisfaction with this. Accepting that this is daily life and dissatisfied that we don't yet see God face to face. All the while hoping that God injects the more in what we do. We shouldn't be consumed with the not less as the injections of the more also need to be in evidence. If not, I start scouting around for ways to escape where God has called me to live. "
